Greetings Everyone! Now that the 2nd CD is finished and available on-line, locally,with I-tunes AND through "BEST BUY" audio stores, it's time to sharpen my focus on other musical matters. The new 7 minute DVD showcasing the range and styles of my original songwriting, vocal and multi-instrumental chops is  UP AND RUNNING! Thank you to "Simple Pleasures Records" for your time, effort and support. The process of having it embedded into the site requires only ONE bit of advice....... PLEASE MAKE SURE that you allow the alloted time necessary to download the full file. The video image/sound is actually very good and will load reasonably quick for most internet connections. I hope you enjoy the DVD.....And that it gives all prospective venue hosts an idea of the diversity and quality I strive to bring to my shows!!                                             It's important for all hosts to realize that my repetoire allows me to do an entire show of purely instrumentals ("Whispered Moments") style, to singer-songwriter to wailin' blues on the "silver bullet" National Style O slide guitar with harmonica cuttin' through for good measure. From strolling solo through the audience to a full-bodied power blues band....... (Brian Black and the Bluescruisers), I've succeeded in connecting with many, many different venue needs!!                                                                                                                       We are excited to welcome a new member into the BluesCruiser gang with the wonderful addition of Michael "Mojo" Johnson! Michael is adding a tasty percussive sound with various hand drums, such as..... congas, bongos, shakers, tappers, and other exotic instruments from his many travels abroad. He is additionally contributing his guitar skills to my acoustic instrumental side as we both dive into the realm of tropical/Latin tinged gems that we are co-writing. We're shooting for an all acoustic CD release sometime in 2009!! Glad to have you along for the BluesCruiser ride Mojo !!                                          Along with our core group of BRIAN BLACK AND THE BLUESCRUISERS, Mojo and I will perform as a side act with a distinctively acoustic instrumental vein called..............THE BLUE FLAMINGOS!!!!!! They'll be a bunch of slappin' and boppin' going on with this eclectic duo, so stay tuned!! (no pun intended......really!) Also, the summer of 2009 has yielded the first ORIGINAL CD of THE BLUE FLAMINGOS....entitled  "PINEAPPLE SALSA SERENADE!!"  We are very proud of these compositions which can best be described as an acoustic guitar duet of tropical/Latin instrumentals that are sure to take you to a place of warm breezes, cool cocktail concoctions and sunset -kissed evenings!
